A Wichita man was indicted by the U.S. Dept. of Justice for threatening to kill President Biden.
27-year-old Cody McCormick released a series of social media posts indicating his intent to either kill Biden forcibly remove him from office. In addition, McCormick posted his intent to purchase an AR-15 style weapon, buy a bus ticket, and shoot the president.
The U.S. Secret Service reportedly began an investigation into McCormick in April, and apparently interviewed him at Ascension Via Christi’s Behavioral Health Center.
McCormick is currently being held in the Sedgwick County Jail.
