A Wichita man is facing charges for a driveby shooting that hurt a 6-year-old girl.

The shooting was reported May 7, at a home in the 100 block of South Mt. Carmel, near Douglas and Meridian. Bullets had struck the home and the injured girl was hit by shrapnel from the bullets. Injuries were described as minor.

This shooting is believed to have been tied to a domestic violence incident.

29-year-old Nicholas Henry, of Wichita, was arrested the following day and has since been charged in court on Friday, May 12. Charges include felon in possession of a firearm, criminal damage to property, aggravated assault, and criminal discharge into an occupied dwelling with bodily harm.
