A missing Kansas man has been found dead in Parsons.
The body of 23-year-old Dakota Patton was found Monday, in rural Neosho County. Patton’s body was discovered in a field near 20th Road and Xavier Road, northeast of Parsons. A statement from the KBI says Patton had been shot.
A 32-year-old man and 47-year-old woman were arrested in connection to Patton’s death. They were arrested in Missouri for first-degree murder and conspiracy to commit murder.
Officials have not said how the victim and suspects knew each other, or released any information on the motive behind Patton’s killing.
