4 Wichitans Charged in Separate Drug Trafficking Cases

A man and woman were charged with drug trafficking crimes by a federal grand jury in Wichita this week.

29-year-old Regan Viner and 41-year-old Abram Velo, both of Wichita, were charged with possession of methamphetamine and fentanyl with intent to distribute.

Velo was also charged with criminal possession of a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime.

The DEA is investigating the case.

Meanwhile two other Wichita residents are charged in a separate drug trafficking case.

19-year-old Dornayja Acon and 19-year-old Jomarion Nelson were each charged with fentanyl possession with intent to distribute. Wichita Police, the Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office, Goddard Police are investigating the case, along with the Mesa, Arizona Police Dept. and the FBI.
