Kansas Attorney General Kris Kobach has partnered with two other State Attorneys General in suing the Biden Administration over the designation of the lesser Prairie Chicken as endangered or threatened.
The rule went into effect last week and the subsequent lawsuit was filed in U.S. District Court in Texas. Kobach is joined by Oklahoma Attorney General Gentner Drummond and Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton
The AGs say that the designation places burdensome restrictions on ranchers and unnecessarily obstructs oil drilling, energy pipelines, wind farms and roads.
