A 51-year-old woman died in a Wichita hospital after her car collided with a van in Valley Center.
The accident was reported around 7:15 Wednesday evening near Meridian and Main. The woman was taken to a hospital where she later died, and she was identified as Christene Traina. The van driver was not hurt.
It’s unclear if Traina had a medical emergency that led to the crash, and police are still investigating.
