A man is dead after an overnight standoff in Dodge City.
Police say 44-year-old Armando Pavon Campos shot himself Monday morning after being involved in a standoff near Market and 2nd in Dodge City. It began around 9 p.m. Sunday.
Garden City police had originally been looking for Campos in connection to a fatal stabbing last week.
63-year-old Julia Landeros was found dead inside a home on Friday, though police believe she had been killed earlier in the week. Officials have not commented on a motive for the stabbing.
