Wichita State confirmed this week that Paul Mills has been hired as the head coach of men’s basketball. in the school’s men’s basketball history.
Mills will be the 27th men’s basketball coach in the school’s history. He will be introduced during a press conference scheduled for 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. The event is free and open to the public. It will also be streaming live and on-demand through ESPN+.
Mills will be coming to WSU after a 30-5 season as the head coach for Oral Roberts Men’s Basketball, taking over a Shocker program ended its season at 17-15. The Shockers missed the postseason for the second year in a row after winning the American Athletic Conference championship in the 2020-21 season.
