The Kansas State men’s basketball team got 27 points from senior guard Markquis Nowell and had solid free-throw shooting to defeat Kentucky in the East Regional of the NCAA men’s basketball tournament on Sunday.
The third seeded Wildcats had 13 of 14 free throws in the second half to win over the sixth-seed Kentucky Wildcats.
K-State will play Thursday, March 23rd in a Sweet 16 game in New York City.
