68-year-old David Adams, of Towanda, was killed in an industrial accident in southwest Wichita.
Officials said a trailer axle fell on the Adams at a facility in the 3200 block of West May, which is near West Street and Southwest Boulevard. The accident happened around 2 p.m. Thursday.
An update from Wichita police says Adams had been working on a trailer, when coworkers came in and found him underneath with par of an axle on top of him. The coworkers moved the axle, called 911, and started CPR.
An investigation is ongoing, though criminal activity is not suspected in this incident.
