A driver was killed when his pickup collided with a semi at an intersection in Reno County. The crash was reported shortly after 12:30 Saturday afternoon.
The Kansas Highway Patrol said a pickup was going north on Partridge Road and failed to stop at a stop sign on Highway 61. The pickup collided with an eastbound semi.
The driver of the pickup, 71-year-old Larry Christiansen of Hudson, Kansas, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the semi, a 30-year-old man from South Ozone Park, New York, was not hurt.
