Wichita police have arrested two people in a child abuse investigation that began in early September.
A 44-year-old man and a 28-year-old woman were booked into jail on a number of charges. The man was booked for aggravated battery, battery with a deadly weapon, and five counts of child abuse. The woman was booked on two counts of aggravated endangering of a child.
Police said they were contacted by a 26-year-old woman on September 2nd about the possible abuse of two children. Information in the case will be presented to the Sedgwick County District Attorney’s Office for the filing of charges.
