A man was sentenced to prison Thursday for sexually assaulting a girl under the age of 10.
37-year-old Jarred McGuire, of Wichita, to life in prison. By state statute, McGuire will be eligible for parole in 25 years.
McGuire had pleaded guilty on September 16th to charges of rape, aggravated indecent liberties with a child and five counts of aggravated criminal sodomy.
The crimes occurred from June of 2016 to May of 2020. McGuire must register as a sex offender and will be on lifetime post release.
