The Kansas Bureau of Investigation is working with Labette County officials after the bodies of a man and woman were found in a rural area near Mound Valley.
Officials received a call Monday morning from a man who said he went to check on his friends and found two bodies. Deputies found the decomposing bodies of a man and woman, and the circumstances are considered suspicious. The two have not been positively identified.
