Try Different Tech Equipment at Tech Day at Wichita Public Library

Wichita Public Library provides the latest technology to educate and engage community members in becoming responsible digital citizens.

Residents can join staff at Tech Day at the Library from 10:30 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday, October 8 at the Advanced Learning Library, 711 W. 2nd St.

This free program will give residents a hands-on approach to different technology and equipment available at the Library, including: wireless hotspots, internet bundles, VR
device, 3D printers, digital tablets, iMac computers and specialized PCs for audio and video production.

Residents will also learn about the AV Studio, which provides the full Adobe Creative Suite, microphones, audio recording equipment, cameras and more. Designed for
individuals and small groups, this free-to-use audiovisual recording and editing space can be reserved for personal or professional use.

In addition to various technology equipment, the Library also hosts free technology classes residents can sign up for to learn how to use Microsoft Word, download ebooks, sell things online, and more.
