Police arrested a 32-year-old Belle Plaine man after three customers of an East Wichita massage parlor accused him of sexually assaulting them during a massage.
Officers got a report on May 23rd from a 38-year-old woman who said a therapist had assaulted her. The suspect was identified as an employee of the business. Two other women, ages 26 and 29, also reported being sexually assaulted by the suspect in May.
After continued investigative work, a warrant was issued for the arrest of Zachary Sample, and he was arrested Thursday night. Police said the massage parlor where the assaults were reported has cooperated with the investigation, and Sample is no longer employed there.
Sample appeared in Sedgwick County District Court Friday afternoon and he was formally charged with three misdemeanor counts of sexual battery. His bond was set at $25,000 and his next court appearance was scheduled for August 11th.
