The Kansas Humane Society last week made a push to free up space, a campaign that proved to be successful, the organization announced.
KHS said that last week 135 cats, 132 dogs, 3 guinea pigs, 2 rats, and 1 rabbit found new homes, while 56 dogs, 33 cats, and 1 guinea pig were adopted on Saturday alone.
