A man known for a local podcast on leadership has been charged with 15 counts of sexual exploitation of a child.
53-year-old Richard Rierson of Andale made his first appearance in Sedgwick County District Court on Friday to face charges. Rierson was arrested May 25th in a traffic stop conducted by Sedgwick County deputies and investigators of the Exploited and Missing Child Unit. He was booked on 23 counts, but the court appearance on Friday was for 14 counts.
Rierson’s bond was set at $150,000 and his next court appearance is scheduled for June 20th. A judge set bond on the condition that Rierson should have no contact with anyone under the age of 18.
Rierson has been the host for the “Dose of Leadership” podcast that focuses on real-life leadership and influence experts.
