Police are investigating a shooting that killed a man late Sunday in a south Wichita neighborhood.
Officers were sent to a report of a disturbance around 9:15 p.m. in the 3000 block of South Elizabeth. They found 25-year-old Vincent White in front of a home, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police said White had been in an argument with a relative, and the relative went to a 39-year-old neighbor for help. White charged at the relative and the neighbor then fired a shot.
An investigation is continuing and information will be presented to the Sedgwick County District Attorney’s Office for a decision on charges.
