The Museum of World Treasures in Wichita’s Old Town entertainment district was closed on Monday to make repairs after a fire outside the building.
Crews were called to the former Heroes sports bar in the 100 block of North Mosely around 6:30 Sunday evening. A fire at the west entrance of the building sent smoke into the neighboring Museum.
No one was hurt and the Museum had only minor structural damage. Some minor smoke damage occurred to some of the items in the museum.
There was no word on the cause of the fire.
