KBI reports missing Hiawatha teen found safe

 

UPDATE:  The Kansas Bureau of Investigation reports Tia Howard was found safe in Rulo, Nebraska, and she was being returned home.

No other details have been released.

The KBI put out an endangered persons advisory for a 16-year-old who was believed to have run away from her home in Hiawatha.

16-year-old Tia Howard was last seen on Sunday night, March 27, at her home in rural Hiawatha. Tia is believed to have left in an unknown car in the area of 260th Rd. and Linden in Hiawatha.

Howard is described as 5-feet-6-inches tall, weighing 120-pounds, with reddish brown hair and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing black yoga pants, a black Under Armour hoodie with pink lettering, and white Crocs.
