Frontier Airlines to end service in Wichita

Frontier Airlines has announced it will discontinue service at Wichita’s Eisenhower National Airport.   The airline had planned to resume flights to Las Vegas on April 1st, but those plans have been canceled.

Frontier officials said the decision was made because of a shortage of aircraft, and they hope to eventually bring service back to Wichita.

Frontier began service from Wichita to Denver in 2018, and they began service to Las Vegas in March of 2021.  They ended the service to Denver in September of 2021.

Wichita continues to have service to Las Vegas with Southwest Airlines on Saturdays and Allegiant Air on Sundays and Thursdays.
