Democratic State Representative Aaron Coleman has been charged with two traffic violations over his arrest on I-70 in northeast Kansas, though he has not been charged with DUI.
The Kansas Highway Patrol initially listed DUI as the potential crime for his November 27th arrest near the Lawrence area.
Coleman is scheduled to have the charges formally read to him and to present a plea on April 15th in Douglas County. He also faces a misdemeanor domestic battery charge over an October 30th fight with his younger brother.
