Sedgwick County’s COVID testing and vaccination site holiday hours

Because of the Thanksgiving holiday, Sedgwick County’s COVID vaccination and testing sites will be using different hours.

The county’s vaccination site at the old Wichita Library, 223 S. Main, will be open using the regular schedule Monday and Tuesday, then Wednesday, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. This site will be closed Thursday and Friday, then back open Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Vaccinations are currently by appointment only, but the system will move to walk-in only starting December 1.

If you need to get tested for COVID, the county’s testing site at 4115 E. Harry will be open during normal hours Monday and Tuesday, then Wednesday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. This testing site will be closed Thursday and Friday, then reopen Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. If you are in need of a test over the Thanksgiving holiday, you may consider an at-home test, which is available at most grocery stores. Some testing sites are also scheduled to remain open on Friday. Those site are listed below.
