A Sedgwick County Sheriff’s detention deputy is charged with disorderly conduct for an incident from August 26.
Officials reports Deputy Aareon White was off-duty at the time, and no specifics were given on what happened. White has been with the Sheriff’s Office for about six months, and he’s on restricted duty while an investigation is underway.
Along with a criminal investigation, the Sheriff’s Office is conducting its own internal investigation.
