Wichita State University is expanding its COVID-19 vaccine incentive program to include a $250 award for fall 2021 for current students who can show proof of vaccination.
Participating students may also receive one of 20 scholarships worth $5,000 each for the spring 2022 semester, which will be awarded through a random drawing.
All degree-bound students who are enrolled in the fall 2021 semester who provide proof of being fully vaccinated through WSU Student Health Services or any other location are eligible for the incentive program. They must submit documentation of both shots of either Pfizer or Moderna, or the single-dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine.
Students may submit proof of vaccination through MyShockerHealth portal. Students must provide proof of full vaccination by October 8th. To meet the deadline, you must receive your first dose of the Pfizer vaccine by Sept. 17th, or the first dose of the Moderna vaccine by Sept. 10th, in order to allow enough time to receive the 2nd doses and submit records by the Oct. 8th deadline.
