A pilot had minor injuries Thursday evening after his small plane went down in northeast Wichita.
The plane went down in a field near 53rd Street North and Greenwich Road around 7:15 p.m. Wichita fire crews went to the scene and reported there was no hazardous material concern.
The pilot refused EMS transport. Greenwich Road was closed for a short time between 53rd Street North and K-254 while crews worked at the scene.
