Sedgwick County looking for input on using COVID relief funds

Sedgwick County is getting more than $100-million in COVID relief money, and leaders are asking for public input on how that money should be used.

As part of the American Rescue Plan, the county will get $100,235,109 to put toward COVID recovery. This money can go to individuals, families, and businesses, and be used to cover specific costs by local governments.

An online survey has been set up to see where people would like the money to be spent. You can take part and identify up to six priority areas where the money should be focused. Categories include things like small business assistance, COVID vaccinations and testing, and expanding mental health services. You can can take the survey by following the link below. You can also take the survey over the phone or request a paper copy by calling 316-660-7591. Responses should be in by June 30.
