Maine, 12 Colorado Counties Added to KDHE’s Travel Quarantine List

The Kansas Department of Health and Environment has amended its Travel Quarantine List to now include the state of Maine, as well as 12 counties in Colorado (as opposed to the entire state itself).

Those who traveled on or after May 2oth to Maine, or the Colorado counties of Alamosa, Baca, Costilla, Dolores, Mesa, Mineral, Otero, Prowers, Rio Grande, Saguache, Sedgwick, and Yuma are being advised to quarantine for 7 days with a negative COVID-19 test, or 10 days without a test. The quarantine period officially ends on the 8th and 11th days, respectively.

Fully vaccinated individuals do not need to quarantine provided they are still within 6 months of receiving their last dose, but at least 2 weeks after the last dose was administered (And have remained asymptomatic since traveling).

More information on quarantine periods as well as locations on the Travel Quarantine List can be found on the KDHE website here.
