A Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Sergeant has been arrested on multiple charges.
The Sheriff’s Office reports the 45-year-old man was booked for domestic violence battery and criminal damage, stalking, and aggravated assault. This is reported to be tied to incidents involving an intimate partner.
After being arrested, the Sergeant has since been relieved of duty without pay. He had been with the Sheriff’s Office for 21 years.
Along with a criminal investigation, the Professional Standards Unit within the Sheriff’s Office is also investigating.
