A 31-year-old Wichita woman has been charged with first degree murder for a fatal incident at a northeast Wichita intersection.

Charity Blackmon appeared in Sedgwick County District Court on Tuesday.  She is also charged with criminal possession of a firearm by a felon, and her bond was set at $250,000.

Blackmon is accused of driving a van that hit 54-year-old Merrill Rabus on his bicycle at 13th and Oliver on the afternoon of March 26th.   Prosecutors said Blackmon stepped out of the van and shot Rabus.    There is no word on a motive for the shooting.
