A new executive order from Governor Kelly will allow more healthcare providers to give COVID vaccinations.
Most people who would normally be allowed to give injections are now able to administer vaccine shots. Examples of people who will be covered in this order include the following:

“We must use every tool in our arsenal to vaccinate Kansans as quickly and efficiently as possible,” Governor Laura Kelly said. “While there is still a vaccine shortage, this order will increase the number of vaccinators in our state so we can achieve our vaccination goals as soon as supply allows.”
In order to administer vaccines, providers will have had to complete vaccination and injection training and have completed a CPR course.
