Wichita State Has Begun Offering Free COVID-19 Testing

Wichita State University began offering free COVID-19 testing on Wednesday, February 17th at the Eugene M. Hughes Metropolitan Complex.

Testing is available Monday through Friday from 11am to 6pm.

Those wanting a test can drive to the Metroplex at the corner of 29th and Oliver and follow the signs while staying in their vehicle. They will then call a testing number that is posted in the parking lot, and an employee will collect their information over the phone.

They will then be invited into the building and a saliva specimen will be taken and sent to Wichita State’s Diagnostics Lab for processing. Most results will be available within 24 hours and patients will receive their test results via email.
