Kansas launches tool to find COVID vaccination sites

Kansas launched an online tool to help find sites near you that have COVID vaccinations available.

The “Find My Vaccine” tool uses a map that shows vaccination sites and whether or not they received more vaccine doses. Places offering vaccinations are still following the state’s phased approach to vaccinations. We are currently in phase-2, which covers healthcare workers, nursing home residents, critical workers, and anyone age 65 or older. Local health leaders may be using slightly different guidelines, so if you need a vaccine it’s important to double check that you are eligible.

“The ‘find my vaccine’ mapping tool allows any Kansan, regardless of where they live, to find the closest vaccine provider to their community,” Governor Laura Kelly said. “The national shortage continues to be the biggest obstacle to delivering vaccines, and that means, many of our enrolled providers do not yet have sufficient vaccines to offer to the general public. But we know it’s better to be ahead of the curve and have this platform ready to go before supply has caught up, so that every Kansan is familiar with the tool and so we can be prepared as more providers are activated.”

Use the link below to use the Find My Vaccine tool. It also includes a breakdown of who is currently eligible to be vaccinated.
