Wichita Public Schools Will Continue With 2 Spectators Per Participant Policy For Sports Events

Wichita Public Schools will be staying with their current policy of 2 spectators per participant for sporting events.

The Kansas High School Activities Association approved up to 4 spectators per participant last week, and the change will go into effect Friday, January 29th.

USD 259 said that exceptions will be made for bowling and swimming, where spectator space is more limited.

While Wichita Public Schools will remain with its 2 person policy, it has extended admission to parents/guardians, siblings, or family friends.
