Governor Kelly announced Monday that she has signed an Executive Order extending temporary relief for motor carriers assisting in the COVID-19 relief efforts from certain rules and regulations.
The Order lifts weight restrictions and other permitting requirements to allow much needed medical supplies, food shipments, and other items to move throughout the state as quickly as possible.
The exceptions apply only to motor carriers that are actively participating in COVID-19 response efforts.
