A statewide Silver Alert has been issued for a man reported missing from Barton County.
Deputies said 64-year-old Carl Whiting was last seen around 10 a.m. Monday in western Barton County, near K-96 Highway. He is a white male, 6 feet 2 inches tall weighing 240 pounds, with sandy hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a black jacket, blue jeans and possibly a yellow sweater. He has dementia and has a history of walking away from his home.
Anyone with information on Whiting should call the Barton County Sheriff’s Office at 620-793-1920.
