A 2.6 magnitude earthquake was recorded in Wichita Wednesday morning.
Data from KU’s Kansas Geological Survey show the quake hit around 9 a.m. in the area of Central and Greenwich. This is the fifth small quake in Wichita since Thanksgiving. Since that time, quakes have also been recorded in Sumner, Barber, Russel, and Kingman counties. None of these appear to have caused any damage.
