Country Singer Hal Ketchum Passes Away

Hal Ketchum has died.  His wife confirmed his passing after a battle with dementia.  Ketchum was 67 years old.

Andrea shared the sad news on her Facebook page Tuesday morning (11/24), posting: “With great sadness and grief we announce that Hal passed away peacefully last night at home due to complications of Dementia.”

Hal Ketchum headlined the 2001  KFDI Listener Appreciation Show here in Wichita with Chris Cagle.  He had 8 top 10 hits in the 90’s.  His debut single, “Small Town Saturday Night” peaked at number two on the Country charts.  In all, he charted 17 singles and released 11 albums.  His last was “I’m the Troubador” in 2014.
