Sedgwick County begins survey on COVID-19 vaccine, adds new website for local data

Sedgwick County residents are being asked to complete an anonymous survey to measure local interest in a COVID-19 vaccine.

The survey responses will help the health department in planning for vaccine information and distribution when it becomes available.    The department worked with the KU School of Medicine to create the survey, and the school will analyze regional and county-specific results.

The survey is available at this web site:

County residents have a new web page with COVID-19 information.  The StoryMap web site includes graphs and information on the case rate by age and by month and there is also data on schools.  The map will be updated each Wednesday.   The map is available on the web page and clicking on  “Exploring COVID-19 Data.”
