Police have arrested a 34-year-old Wichita man for a fatal weekend stabbing that happened at a south side home.
Police found 59-year-old Brian Turner with a number of stab wounds early Sunday at a home in the 2800 block of South Washington. Turner died at the scene and officers found that he had been involved in a dispute with another man. The other man pulled out a knife and stabbed Turner, then fled in a vehicle.
Police said the suspect has previous felony convictions and is currently on parole through the Kansas Department of Corrections.
Information will be presented to the Sedgwick County District Attorney’s office for the filing of charges in the case.
