Sedgwick County health officials are reporting three new clusters of COVID-19 activity at adult care homes.
New Hope Valley Center at 821 West 3rd Street in Valley Center is reporting 15 cases, involving ten residents and five staff members. The employees are tested two times a week while residents continue testing on a weekly basis. After two rounds of testing, there are no additional positive cases.
The Oxford Grand at New Market at 3051 North Parkdale Circle in Wichita has reported 29 cases, involving 19 residents and 10 staff members. One resident refused testing, and precautions are being taken as if that resident had tested positive. All other residents have been tested.
Wichita Presbyterian Manor at 4700 West 13th in Wichita is reporting four cases, involving three staff members and one resident. All staff members are being tested two times a week. All residents were tested November 9th and will be tested again November 16th, along with all Memory Care residents.
