A woman drowned at El Dorado Lake Sunday evening.
The Butler County Sheriff’s Office says the woman was at the Walnut River Beach and started having trouble breathing. Someone had gone to grab her inhaler but the woman went under . Attempts to revive her were not successful.
Officials say there is nothing suspicious being investigated and that alcohol was not involved.
The woman’s name has not been released.
