A 42-year-old man was fatally hurt in a motorcycle crash Thursday night, near 53rd. and the Little Arkansas River.
Officers were called to the area around 9:10 p.m. and found the critically injured rider. He was taken to a hospital where he later passed away. The driver a of minivan involved in the crash suffered minor injuries. The motorcycle rider is identified as Jason McKay, of Wichita.
Police say the driver of the minivan was headed east, and making a left turn to go north. The motorcycle rider was going west and hit the minivan as it turned.
This crash is still under investigation and police have not said which driver had the right-of-way.
