Textron Inc. has announced plans to cut nearly 2,000 jobs (6% of its staff) while it continues to iron out restructuring plans and address the challenges caused by the Coronavirus.
The company employs roughly 9,000 Wichita residents, and it was not specified to what extent workers here will be affected.
Many Textron employees within the city have already been impacted by the initial cuts the company made due to COVID-19.
