United Way begins first session to help workers affected by coronavirus shutdowns

The United Way of the Plains will begin the first session of its financial assistance program on Monday.
They will be providing emergency financial relief for rent and utilities, food assistance from the Kansas Food Bank, debt management counseling, and arrangements for utility bill payment plans.
The sessions are by appointment only.  If you require help, call the United Way of the Plains hotline at 211 to set up an appointment for the next session which will be from June 15th through 19th.
