Derby’s Rock River Rapids Aquatic Center Reopening June 8th

The Derby Recreation Commission announced the Rock River Rapids Aquatic Center will be opening its doors on Monday, June 8th at 12:30pm.

In order to limit possible spread of the coronavirus, the water park will be opening for two separate time blocks during the week; the first from 12:30pm to 4pm, and the second from 5pm to 7pm. During those blocks, the park will only be operating at 30% capacity (or 750 tickets) in order to maintain social distancing guidelines.

Tickets must be purchased online and in advance at RockRiverRapids.com. Season ticket holders must also reserve their spots in advance but will not be charged above regular season ticket price.

Hand sanitizing stations have been added throughout the park, and customers are also being encouraged to bring their own.

More information can be found at the Rock River Rapids website.
