The Workforce Centers of South Central Kansas will reopen their Wichita location for in-person services this week.
The Workforce Center at 21st and Amidon will be open Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Fridays from 9 a.m. to noon. Appointments can be made at the web site www.workforce-ks.com/book-an-appointment or by calling 316-771-6800.
Health and safety precautions will be in efect and there will be questionnaire screening and social distancing practices in effect. Computers will be available in the career center on a limited basis by appointment. In-person workshops and group classes are still suspended, but video tutorials are available on the Workforce Centers YouTube channel.
The Butler, Cowley, and Sumner County Workforce Centers will remain closed to the public but they will provide virtual services.
