The city of Wichita is reopening the city hall building and other facilities with limited access and services.
Municipal Court is reopening with different court dates and a different system for probation. People who attend court hearings will be required to wear masks and follow social distancing requirements.
The first three floors of city hall will have public access. More information is available through the city’s web site at www.wichita.gov
The Wichita Public Library is opening for limited in-person services. Pick-up holds and drive-up window service will be available, and staff will provide assistance with materials inside the library branches. Print, copy and fax services will be available, and there will be public computer access with limited seating capacity.
The Linwood Park branch is not reopening this week, but it will continue to provide curbside pick-up service.
Sedgwick County’s main courthouse and juvenile courthouse will reopen to the public, and there will be screening for people entering the building. People will be required to wear a mask while they are inside the building.
The historic courthouse, the Ronald Reagan Building and other county facilities will have a phased-in reopening through July 3rd. More information is available at www.sedgwickcounty.org
