Flags across Kansas are ordered to be flown at half-staff starting today, through sunset on Sunday, in honor of people who’ve died from the new coronavirus.
“The death toll due to coronavirus is devastating in Kansas and beyond,” Governor Kelly said. “We all have an obligation to honor those lost to the virus, to include courageous frontline workers who literally gave their lives to help and protect others during this pandemic.”
President Trump announced earlier that flags at federal buildings and monuments will be at half-staff in honor of COVID-19 victims.
